You may have to repeat this process several times until you get the darkness you want. To darken the subject, select Exposure, adjust the focus area, and decrease the brightness. In Snapseed, all you need is to improve your skills in using the Brush tool. No, you don’t need Photoshop skills to perfect a silhouette. Once you are happy with your drawing, tap on the tick icon to maintain the effect. Now drag the slider horizontally to increase/decrease the brightness. To do so, select Selective and tap on the image to mark a point.
So if you have a drab photo with a plain white background, you can lower the brightness a bit to make your subject stand out. What’s more, it also lets you tweak the focus area.
